Resin jewellery — colour, cast and cure
Resin turns pigment and objects into glass-like colour — pour discipline required.
Resin is the fashion-jewellery colour engine: two-part epoxy that cures
to glass-like depth, carrying pigment, glitter, dried flowers, anything
dry.
The technique spine — mix ratio EXACTLY (off-ratio never cures right),
mix slowly (bubbles), pour in layers, pop surface bubbles with gentle
heat, cure 24-72h, demould, sand and polish edges.
Colour — alcohol inks for transparency, mica powders for shimmer,
acrylic for opacity. Colour theory applies as usual —
the pairings work in resin too.
Safety — gloves and ventilation are non-negotiable; uncured resin
sensitises skin over time.
Where it sits — statement pieces and seasonal collections; light
weight makes big shapes wearable. Professional finishing standards still
apply — the master techniques course covers finishing across
materials.
What students say
“Attended the courses here and it's worth way more than what you have to pay for. The instructors are all super approachable and welcoming everytime they see you. The tools needed are provided and you get to bring home the crafts that you make during the class. Even the class schedules are pretty flexible. I enjoyed myself here a lot and will definitely sign up for more classes.”
