Know your styleNot everybody know that necklaces are referred to with different name depending on their length. For example, a pearls necklace between 12 and 13 inches in length is called a Collar. This style is often misquoted as a Choker, which on the other hand is a slightly longer version of a necklace, between 14 and 16 inches. Unlike Collars, Chokers are meant to gently rest at the base of the neck.
The next lengths are then referred to as the Princess (17-19 inches), the Opera (28 to 34 inches) and the Rope (over 45 inches). Each style best suites specific some occasions. For example, the Opera clearly says that it is perfect if you are planning to attend an opera performance. In this first class of Fashion Jewellery Design you will learn everything about both knowing and making your very own fashion jewellery necklaces, but also the foundation for bracelets and earrings. |
